The South Australian Society of Hypnosis and the Australian Society of Hypnosis are pleased to announce that the 41st Annual Congress is to be held in Adelaide from Thursday 15 to Saturday 17 September 2011.
Our theme is The Cutting Edge: Integrating Practices, People & Professions, reflecting the drawing together of the latest research and thinking in the field of hypnosis, the application of hypnosis to a wide range of areas across the lifespan, its connection to other fields of interest, such as mindfulness, and the Society’s welcoming of a broader range of health care professionals under its umbrella. We aim to bring all of these aspects together and integrate them into a stimulating and enjoyable experience for all.
An invitation is extended to all members of the Australian Society of Hypnosis and health care providers recognised by the Australian Government: Medical Practitioners, Psychologists, Dentists, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths, Podiatrists, Optometrists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and graduate students of these professions.
This Hypnosis Congress will have something to offer practitioners, educators and researchers at every level of experience in hypnosis, whether they are only just discovering the benefits of this powerful therapeutic tool, or are already seasoned veterans in the field. The Congress will include Keynote Addresses, Workshops, Practitioner Forums, “How To” Sessions, Presentations on Research Findings, and a Social Program.
