FROM RESEARCH TO REALITY
Translating biodiversity research outcomes through biotechnology
THE SECOND BIODISCOVERY FORUM
Flinders University, with the support of the Australian Government, is proud to host the 2nd National Biodiscovery Forum in August 2011. The Australian Government established the National Biodiscovery Forum in 2009 to provide an opportunity for biodiscovery and biotechnology researchers to highlight their research and exchange views with science, industry and environmental policy-makers.
The program will include renowned speakers and panel discussions related to current Australian biodiscovery, biotechnology research, utilisation and commercialisation issues. It will also include the latest on national and international developments related to the use of and trade in genetic and biochemical resources. Workshops, tours and research showcases will complement the program.
